Writing

Fix the sentence. Keep the voice.

A grammar checker should know the difference between an error and a choice. Bearly flags what is wrong, explains why, and leaves the final call with you.

Use the tool

Paste the writing you want checked

Use a sentence, email, essay, memo, or draft. Bearly will review the actual language—not a generic sample.

Paste the complete passage, including any headings or formatting you want preserved.

Your input stays in this browser through sign-in and expires after two hours. Bearly imports it into a private chat and starts the work automatically.

What it actually does

Useful before impressive.

Most grammar tools optimize for one flavor of technically correct prose. That is how a memo starts sounding like a terms-of-service update. Bearly treats correctness, clarity, and style as separate questions.

You get reviewable suggestions rather than a silent rewrite: the original language, the proposed change, the reason, and a clean version when you are ready. From there, the same conversation can tighten the argument, change the tone, or turn the piece into something else entirely.

Worked example

The shape of a good result.

Every result follows the material you provide. This example shows the level of specificity Bearly is aiming for.

Original

Bearly's review

Agreement

“The research team has reviewed…” — team is treated as a singular collective noun here.

Punctuation

Replace the comma before “however” with a semicolon, or begin a new sentence.

Spelling

“They're going to meet…” — use the contraction for “they are.”

Clean copy

The research team has reviewed the results; however, it hasn't reached a conclusion yet. They're going to meet again on Friday.

How it works

Three moves. One conversation.

  1. 01

    Paste the text

A sentence, an essay, an email, or an unruly draft all work.

  2. 02

    Review the reasoning

See grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, and style suggestions separately.

  3. 03

    Keep working

Accept what helps, preserve deliberate choices, then revise tone or structure in the same chat.

Keep going

The result is not a dead end.

  • Turn the corrected draft into a sharper executive summary.
  • Compare formal, conversational, and publication-ready versions.
  • Check claims and add current sources without leaving the conversation.

Worth knowing

No magic tricks.

  • Bearly does not replace your prose with a generic rewrite unless you ask it to.
  • Specialized terminology, names, and intentional fragments can be kept as written.
  • Sign-in is required so the result can live in your Bearly workspace.
